Posted Salary Range

USD $120,000.00 - USD $125,000.00 /Yr.

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

As the Director of Nursing, you will have full authority over the nursing department, focusing on quality outcomes and regulatory success:

Clinical Leadership & Quality Assurance

  • Drive the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program to ensure top-tier clinical outcomes.
  • Oversee the MDS/RAI process to ensure accurate assessment and reimbursement.
  • Monitor resident care to ensure clinical needs are met and care plans are executed with excellence.

Regulatory & Compliance

  • Maintain 24/7 readiness for state and federal surveys.
  • Ensure full compliance with all local, state, and federal long-term care regulations.
  • Lead the facility through the survey process and manage any necessary plans of correction.

Team Development & Culture

  • Recruit, onboard, and retain a high-performing nursing team (RNs, LPNs, CNAs).
  • Foster a supportive work environment that prioritizes staff well-being and professional development.
  • Provide direct mentorship to the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) and Unit Managers.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A dynamic leader who inspires teams through exceptional communication, turning challenges into opportunities for growth and excellence.
  • Able to organize and prioritize many tasks effectively.
  • Desire to enrich resident and staff’s lives.
  • Proven leadership with 4+ years as a Director of Nursing in long-term care, demonstrating a track record of innovative team management and continuous quality improvement.
  • RN (Registered Nurse) in state of residency, BSN a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain positive employee and community relationships.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Tech-savvy professional who embraces digital innovation and continuously adapts to cutting-edge healthcare technologies.
  • Knowledge of reimbursement regulations and nursing practices and procedures.
  • Ability to follow all applicable policies and procedures as well as current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern long term care homes.
  • Able to react to emergency situations appropriately when required.
